Create Checklist Offline

There should be the ability to create checklists from a mobile device while offline. The current state does not allow for a checklist to be created from a template unless there is an internet or cell service to the device. This makes the platform unusable to complete QA/QC workflows from remote locations or in areas with no cell/internet service.

The classic field application does allow a user to create a checklist from offline, this needs to be enabled in the new BIM 360 application.

I completely agree.  BIM 360 is meant to be used on a construction site, and the inability create a checklist on an iPad apart from a data connection is a major oversight.   

Even on projects with wi-fi at the job site trailer, walking back and forth to the trailer to get data and initiate a checklist is a big waste of time.   Tethering an iPad to a mobile hotspot is problematic on a construction site, since juggling two devices is time consuming and potentially hazardous.   

For projects without a data connection (no wi-fi and no cellular)  this makes the checklist module completely useless.

This is a must need feature. Jobsites do not have Wifi early in the project but still need to be able to create checklists from templates while in the field. Confusing that the templates show up and can be previewed while offline but doesn't allow to create new checklists from them. Please add ASAP!!

A good example is when recording safety incidents.  We would need to return to Wifi to create the checklist and then go back to record the event - not ideal.
