Copy from Template for Docs setup

When activating a new Field project in HQ you can choose to copy from a template project.

  1) It would be helpful if this copy process included empty folders in the Library.

  2) Give Docs the same copy from template option at activation/setup.

Any indication when this functionality will be released? In the meantime could we have the ability to copy folders/folder structure within the project?

Hi,

This was implemented for Docs in the January 31, 2018 update.  Now when you are creating a new project, you can copy the project folder structure ("copy project settings") from another Docs projects in your account.

Thanks again for this.  

On the "copy project settings" option, can you clarify what all is getting copied over for Docs?  The "Learn more" link doesn't currently point to an applicable page that details what all is or isn't being copied (project members, permissions, templates, reports, etc.).

Just to clarify this is only folder structure? 

 ("copy project settings") that sounds like it includes permissions, or the option to include settings? 

Is their a way to copy folder permissions?

Hi Joan,

I would like to know if the question of Jonny is on the roadmap or not, because it is a lot of work to set the permissions for each individual project. Is there a way to copy permissions?
