BIM 360 Project Management Submittals - Allow Deletion of Packages
Currently, submittal items can be voided, while packages cannot. If a package is created in error, there is no way that I have been able to find to clear it off the list.
@Anonymous @Anonymous We will soon allow the ability to VOID empty packages as well.
As for "hard" deletion - this is currently not available (same as issues and RFIs). Keeping this idea open for gathering additional votes and feedback.
I agree with previous comments. It is frustrating to have little flexibility in being able to delete submittal items or submittal packages. I have also found that you cannot delete spec sections once one is created, although more can be added each time a new spreadsheet is imported.
Also, if a submittal item is voided, the submittal numbering system is retained keeping a number for the voided item. It would be nice to have some control over the numbering system.
A mass edit function would also be nice, for example to be able to select multiple items in a section and void or edit properties of multiple items at once.
Just started using this and still having the same problem in 2021. Is there any plan to implement the suggestions for deleting submittals, bid packages etc?
