BIM 360 Docs Member Roles
I think it would be very useful to change/add member roles. The pre-set roles don't always suit every project and if they are customizable it will make it easier to use roles for permissions as well.
Adding to the roles customise wish. We have roles which are operations related which don't fit any of the design project oriented presets. Please don't create a management system for design, document/info management has to be life-cycle focused
Virtually all the roles are based on a design build project? I thought 360 was being built for the full lifecycle? Owners and operators will have roles that are nothing to do with the current presets
I am a new BIM 360 Docs user - transferring from Autodesk Buzzsaw. We therefore have existing projects with predefined roles, covering the entire life cycle of our projects, which define user permissions. I am currently struggling to match these against the restrictive list of roles currently available on BIM, many of which are not relevant to our projects and agree with that it would be a useful feature for Administrators to be able to customise roles.

The April 11, 2019 BIM 360 Administration update delivers custom roles, which can be used for setting folder permissions, access, and workflow settings. Please refer to the Release Notes for more details.
