Add the ability to add Sub-Contractors and track their time.
Add the ability to Format the report output
- Header
- allow font and background color formatting
- Allow Company and sub-Contractor logos to be included
- Allow display of additional (optional) header information from the project profile
- Allow of Daily editing after posting.
Here is a comment I added to another idea. I think the same thoughts are relevant here:
The ability to add a subcontractor and track labor use by sub is critical information to any Project Management. Additionally, Daily Logs suffer from the same affliction as "Checklists". The absolute inability to edit, add data from an existing source in the BIM project or make any type of format improvement.
I am sure that many tens of thousands of dollars were spent in the backbone of all of the BIM 360 Build components.
Unfortunately it seems like Autodesk spent about $1.99 on the quality of the report output.
The reports are hideous and look like they should still be printed on a 9-pin, dot-matrix printer. Although they are limited in the information that is displayed, needles to say embarrassing to present to your team. It gets worse, our customer demands that they review our dailies. I can see the disappointment when they look at one of your reports. Our customer expects more these days. We submit drawing packages with 3D models and unparalleled detail, but when it comes to construction documentation we look like we are still in the 1960's (that's being generous). More like an 8 bit video game in an 8K world. Keep the backbone string but spend some money on the reports.
