We have a map of a large area which we have within BIM 360 Document Management. We would like to do a rough mark up of the various parcels of land within the map. This does not need to be very accurate - it's just to give an idea for concept planning and to communicate next steps within the team. It is not for anything like costing or QC work, which we appreciate would require dedicated software like Infraworks or Civil 3D. Those software's however seem overkill at the moment though, so we are taking off from Google Earth using a PDF mark up tool. We would like to centralise the workflow using BIM 360 however, where we have moved much of the rest of our review work.
We have requested in the another idea that we be able to annotate areas within the mark up tool. It would be really useful to be able to create a very quick take off schedules within the mark up as well. This would simply be something like
Area 1 10m2
Area 2 15m2
Area 3 9m2
And so on.
