Today, I created a new project in ACC. Since Issue Settings Permissions is not available in the Template to have the ability to assign Roles with specific permissions, I went to do it manually after project creation as I have done for all new projects. Huge waste of time....
Well, today Autodesk has changed it and made Issues even harder to manage, as only Roles present are those members and their roles assigned to them already in the project. I cannot add all Roles to the project and setup permissions so that when a new member is added with a role assigned, they automatically get the correct permission access for Issues. I must go to the Issues Settings now every time a new member is added and set the permission for that new member. What use are roles then in Issues?
Please return to previous behavior or put Issue permissions with role in the template.
+ Voted. It would simplify our work in our company. The nature of our business is that we have a large number of projects (multi-family housing) where having an unified project template, with a lot of preconfigured settings is a big deal. I trust that all companies in our industry that deal with a large number of projects can chime in.
