Hi,

I have problem loading the naviswork file in Bim Glue 360.

How big the file size can be uploaded in the Bim Glue 360.

i use naviswork because the revit file is much bigger, about 200mb

Hi Nino,

Thank you for your post.

At what point of the upload does the error message pop up?  Does it go through the upload or does it fail while uploading?  Glue is capable of handling large files, the file size becomes a factor if the bandwidth or connection is slower.  If the failure happens while the model is being processed  in Glue then it may be a different issue.

Which file format were you trying to upload?  Were you using the plug-in from Revit?

Thank you!

Hi Nino,

Thank you for providing additional information.  We are actually investigating an issue with uploading large NWD files which we should resolve very soon.

Although uploading an NWD file is an available option, I would still recommend that you try to upload views from Revit.  Unlike the other applications wherein you are uploading the entire file in Revit, it is a bit different for Revit.  Only views are uploaded in from Revit and not the entire Revit file.  Views can be uploaded in NWC or DWF format which will be much smaller than the total file size of the Revit file.  One of the primary advantage of uploading views directly from Revit is it makes it easier to update the models in Glue if there are updates to the Revit file.  It eliminates extra steps.

I hope this information helps.
