Incomplete data set from 360 Docs

Hi

We have been using the API access to 360 Docs to extract properties and values from our 3D models.

Yesterday we experienced that we weren’t getting all the properties in the model.

I’ve made the following test:

I have an old extraction (dated 16. Jan 2019) from my Revit model, which contains all the properties I’m looking for, I'll call it data_set_1.

I’ve uploaded the exact same Revit model in a new folder today, extracted the properties, getting data_set_2.

The result should be data_set_1 = data_set_2.

I’ve compared the two data sets, and am getting less information in the last one.

I chose a random object (a floor object), and data_set_2 was missing 13 out of the original 66 properties in data_set_1.

See attached picture – it shows the JSON name of the properties and values, that were present in data_set_1, but not in data_set_2.

We've seen this behavior on two seperate projects now, and we haven't changed our extraction method.

Any ideas?

/Esben

Hi @Anonymous ,

Sorry for hear this problem. does this happen with any Floor? could you private email us with the URN? It might not tell useful information as we cannot see the response that is from customer request. So I would appreciate if you could send us an isolate small Revit file to check what might happen. email us by [email protected] with the private data/information. Thank you.

Hi @Anonymous ,

as replying on the channel of Forge support, this issue had been logged as internal ticket #DERI-5426. Our engineer team has fixed this in the latest update.  I verified it can work now with your model. The dimensions and some other properties are available now with the endpoint modelderivative/v2/designdata/{{urnBase64}}/metadata/{{metadata_guid}}/properties

Please let us know if there is any questions.
