Setting color to instances

Hey all,

After passing through a mesh into `geo instance` then `set instance shape`, is it possible to change its point color so that each instance can be colored individually? I tried using a `set geo property` but this only takes effect if it's done pre-instance instead of post. Thanks!

I did see that thread unfortunately all of the examples are showing grey for me. They have no errors on open so not too sure what to make of it.

Indeed, that example is how you set colors on instances for your Arnold renders. In the viewport I'm afraid it's not currently possible.

Thanks for the clarification, but all scenes are rendering black for me too using Arnold.

They're probably fine then, my version must be too old to support it. Living in the past, ya know? 🙂
