Exact size of an array returned by get_closest_point

Hello

I have a curve with a deformed plane.
I use get_closest_point between them with a cut off distance of 1

At frame 71 I got around 50 points as a result
At frame 72 I got 99 points (the maximum)

But array_size gives me only 99 points whatever the frame.

Does it make sense ?

How can I get the exact number of points returned by get_closest_point ?

If you connect get_point_position to positions on location_scope you should see that all the 99 locations are there.
