i have a ocean created with boss, i want to put a boat without moving on it, the boat is attached to a harbor, i ve created a locator that isnt at the boat itself, how can i setup that locator to be on the boat and is there a way to move the boat with more than one locator? i meant, how can i setup that locator to gain more than one force to move it?

any advice? tks in advance.

hehehe tks for the answer, i have a boat, i ve created a dinamic locator to move the boat as the ocean waves, is there a way to have more than one locator to have a better boat movement?, the boat mesh has thins faces, so in time to time the water is seeing in the boat interior, is there a way to have the water out of the boat?

tks in advance.

Hi,

It sounds like the simplest thing to do is to render the interior of the boat separately, and composite it into the final shot.

Cheers,

tks again for the answer, that sounds good, now, im trying to use a proxy to gain some speed response in the scene, but when i try to make the boat (the proxy one) as a collider, i cant create a collider setting in the boss editor, it says "please select atleast a mesh object as an influence".

any advice?

tks in advcance

Hi,

Just to double-check, did you follow the procedure described under To add a geometry influence?

well, i havent seen that one, but i ve managed to make it works, i ve createad a low poly version of my mesh both fbx files, and i ve used the reference editor to use that low poly mesh as a proxy, now i can use the collider option in the boss editor and im using a dinamic locator (make a boat) to make it move with the waves.

im gonna read that one to see what else i can do.

tks for the attention, see you later mate.
