Bifrost 2.2.1.3 Released!

Update 3: Bifrost 2.2.1.3 is released, a bug fix release which is 2.2.1.0 with another key bug fix. This fixes an issue where Maya cannot load on Linux systems when the LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable points to a non-existing path, and both Bifrost and MtoA are set to auto-load.

Version 2.2.1.0 of Bifrost for Maya is a minor feature release. It includes new simulation features including filter particles, which allows effects such as fireworks, refining of Aero simulations after the solver has finished, resuming simulations from cache, and more. It also includes faster loading of the Bifrost plugin. It also enables terminals selective evaluation in DG mode in Maya.

Last but not least, it includes ten new browser graphs. These demonstrate Aero post refinement, fireworks and particle orientations, scattering basics and how to use weights to put a forest in to valleys, using geometry queries to create snow shadows, and using fields to create "boiling noise" and "hurricane noise".

See the release notes for more information.
