PLEASE ALLOW MULTIPLE INSTANCES OF DWF TO BE OPEN OF THE SAME FILE, SO WE CAN REVIEW VARIOUS PAGES AT THE SAME TIME IN MULTIPLE WINDOWS.

Design Review (ADR) is a dead product, development stopped back in the year 2018. They only patch it to stay ahead of Windows11 updates that like to kill old programs.
Open multiple sessions as a workaround until you find another software to do what you need.

Is there a good replacement?  I've got a decent PDF program (PDF-xchange).  But I love how quick DWF is and its markups are still very good for review.  The rest of the product has been not so good for years.

I guess I was asking for personal recommendations for a substitute.  What is everyone else using in the industry?

Bluebeam?  Anything else?

I loved how DWF handled comments: none, done, question, review.  with easily highlighted marks on the sheet.

We are still using ADR for DWF markups as well as the cloud-based solutions in ACC DOCS.

Not using Bluebeam due to purchasing issues.

I too still love ADR and it's markup capabilities.

Is acc docs a separate purchase? Or does it come with the building bundle?

You can have ACC DOCS as a separate purchase. Or:

  • As part of AEC collection
  • As part of BIM Collaborate Pro subscription.

BLUEBEAM is most widely used in AEC.

Autodesk ACC is an option if you are a BIM user (c3D qualify as BIM?): not as prolific as BB.
