The options for Inventor are saved on a network drive & the files copied to the local work station as required.
Can this be automated (looking around I've found some options can be built into a deployment)?
Below are the steps I'd like to take:
Map network drive with contains the folder ‘CAD_FILES’ to the local machine.
Copy the project file (copy from ‘CAD_FILES’) to C: drive
- Folders are saved on the network drive ‘CAD_FILES’
- Design data - remain on network so all users can be updated
- Templates - remain on network so all users can be updated
Load applications options (import from ‘CAD_FILES’)
Load iLogic options (import from ‘CAD_FILES’)
