Insight Revit 2023

My query is, if I downloaded and use Revit 2023 and the add in requested to use Insight Green Build Studio,Energy analysis is an application for Revit 2020. How can I use those?I need to re install RVT 2020 before? Is the only solar analysis and light analysis?

You cannot use an add-in designed for an earlier version of Revit with a newer version of the software.

That being said, it's worth checking with the developer of the add-in to see if there is an updated version available that is compatible with Revit 2023. Alternatively, there may be other energy analysis add-ins available for Revit 2023 that you could use instead.

In terms of the types of analysis that are available, Revit has a number of built-in analysis tools that cover a range of topics including energy use, solar analysis, lighting, and more.

The installation request for 2023 is not available from Autodesk past 2020 ... currently the workaround is to use the Custom Installer creation in Manage portal to add the Insight tools to an installer Revit 2023 ... run again and the tools are added
