Autodesk Forma Design Contest 2024
Solaris is a coastal development with an emphasis on maximum sun exposure and outdoor living.
Forma’s intuitive tools and simple workspace made working on Solaris easy and fun. The analysis tools, including the sun hours, daylight potential, wind analysis and microclimate analysis tools allowed for minor course corrections to be made as Solaris evolved and ensured that the scheme always had maximum user comfort at its very core.
Lots of extra detail was added using Forma’s 3D sketch, line and surface tools including a variety of outside sports facilities and shared spaces. I really think these details help emphasize the design intent of Solaris as being a healthy outdoor living and community friendly space.
