I know this will be completely ignored and it would be more useful shouting it into a big hole 'as per usual' but ...
It would be nice to have an option in the 'desktop app' to just install a version of Max.
The DA is completely redundant in terms of features, you look at any other software's DA and it has all the functionality there - while Adobe's Creative Cloud thing is a bit bloated, you can do anything you want without having to trawl the web and Autodesk's horrific website navigation. I can install any version of PS or other Adobe software, updates, etc. Autodesk DA? You updates are installed, and 'go to Autodesk website'. I can do that myself.
I'm using Max 2020.3 but it's too unstable - I want to install 2019 again. Where is this option.
There's not point in having the DA even installed, and you have to search endlessly through the Autodesk website for anything decent.
Sends you to https://manage.autodesk.com/cep/#products-services/all, where you can download previous versions of your software.
If you'd like to be able to download it from within the app, you'll have to post this on the relevant Idea forum (Installation & Licensing, I guess).
Do you mean the product buttons or the buttons on the left-hand menu? The product buttons will only be there for the products you have a license for/have installed. If you don't have any left-hand menu buttons, that's a bit weirder. What version of ADA are you on? I'm on 7.0.21.17
