Pop-up notifications for hot-fixes and security updates

How do I get the Desktop App to reliably and consistently pop-up when critical hot-fixes and security updates become available? We frequently have connection issues on BIM 360 projects when, unbeknownst to us, we are one version behind.

Is there a setting somewhere that I am missing?

BTW, the Notification checkbox under Settings appears to do nothing, I never get any sort of notification

security updates for what software?

if your just talking about BIM 360

updates do not appear in the Desktop app
