Hi!

 

I downloaded Inventor 2020 and the Woodwork for Inventor add-in trials to show the possibilities of the software in a new company. Woodwork for Inventor for the 2020 version only works with the latest updates. For some reason my AutoDesk Desktop app shows no updates but the build in the inventor is shown as 168 (see attachments). In overall my problem is that I need the newest inventor build to run the Woodwork add-in but AutoDesk is not allowing me to install the updates.

Is this a restriction of the trial or I am doing smth wrong?

The app sometimes doesn't work for me but you should be able to manually update from: http://manage.autodesk.com

As far as I know trial version users are not given access to any software updates... You get stuck with the first build..

Unfortunately it shows updates only for the previously installed and activated products. Is there maybe a possibility to get a direct download link?

Subscriptions to Trial Versions do not include Subscription Benefits

Updates are a "Subscription Benefit"..

As a trial user you are not entitled to updates..

@mcgyvrCan you point me in the right direction how to update our Inventor Professional 2021 from the Product design package? The desktop app once in a while shows updates to the current main version, like 2021.3.3. I can then download it. Same with the licence manager or desktop app itself. But no major version updates like Inventor 2022 are being shown nor pushed to my attention by the desktop app. We run a licence server. In my manage.autodesk there is not even 1 product shown. So when i want to update to 2022, i need to install a trial after filling all the fields and personal data again, and after installing i need to select the licence server model. But this must be easier than this right?  Where is this going wrong? Can you help me? Thanks in advance

If you don't see what you need, then contact your CAD Manager for access or use the Help support on that webpage to get what you need.
