AutoCAD MEP "Installed" but no option to Launch

Hi,

I've downloaded AutoCAD MEP 2020 through the AutoDesk app, but after download there is no option to launch the program (either from the AutoDesk app or via Windows).

Is there a suggested solution to this? All updates have been installed, but I feel like the software hasn't downloaded correctly.

Thanks in advance.

Hi@aaron.bonanno,

Thanks for your feedback.

could you please try this?

Exit Autodesk desktop app(from system tray menu)
Stop AdAppMgr Service(task manager)
%Programdata% > Autodesk > Delete the “SDS” folder
Restart Autodesk desktop app.

Please let me knowif it works.

Regards,

Srinivas.

Hi Srinivas,

I could not find an SDS folder within %AppData% > AutoDesk, or in any subfolders.

Any thoughts?

Hi Srinivas,

Missed that - apologies.

I followed the steps you described and I still can't access AutoCAD MEP.

Thanks.

Hi Aaron,

Could you please restart the system?

could you please check the registry?  (Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Autodesk\UPI2\ ) is there any GUID value for MEP product.

Here is the example.

While you play in the registry...

Have you tried just logging into your account and grabbing your software from there https://manage.autodesk.com/

use the BROWSER download method https://knowledge.autodesk.com/customer-service/download-install/download/about-download-methods/bro...
