Nothing is updating via the desktop app. The error I’m getting, and it’s instantaneous , is “download failed”. I’ve tried several different networks, home and at work, and nothing results in my apps actually updating .
Any suggestions?

Go to https://manage.autodesk.com and log in. Can you download OK from there? If so, problem solved, you don't really need the desktop app.
I am also experiencing download failures. I use Microsoft OneDrive instead of Google drive and thought maybe the problem might be similar. I changed the OneDrive download folder in "Settings" to a folder on the C: drive and now the Autodesk connector downloads the updates correctly. Thanks for sharing your solution!
