Elevator

This could be a simple problem, but I can not seem to find a logical way of solving it.

I am just learning ADT and have a project to work with. It has 3 floors (basement, level 1, 2). Each floor is in a separate file along with the sub-floors (joists, slabs, etc.). There is a elevator that spans the levels and I'm trying to figure out how to get a hole to show up in each level without having to physically cut into each one manually.

I'm sure there is a way to do this (at least I hope so). I tried a hole in the slab (sheathing) but, of course, that did nothing to cut the joists. It also did nothing to cut through the space created for each levels' elevator area.

Hope this makes sense and I hope someone can shed light on a solution.

The smart thing would have been to say I'm trying to create a shaft that spans all the levels and not a hole. Duh. :~)

I don't think there is any way to do this, the other levels don't 'know' that you want to cut a hole in them for the shaft, you'll have to do it manually.
