Unable to update

Any particular reason for this to keep happening? I've been unable to update through Autodesk Access since installing the 2026 versions of Inventor/AutoCAD/Vault.

Are you the account admin @fridtjofZM5ME 

If not, it appears they blocked you from getting access to updates.

 

If yes, you'll need to chat with support on that webpage.

Maybe because Access is crap. Download updates from you Autodesk Account page.

HI @fridtjofZM5ME , not sure what the issue might be, but it seems there might be something on the system that is preventing installations, like a pending reboot from one of the product installs.  Can you try restarting the machine and attempting to update via Access at startup?

 

@pendean , if they didn't have a subscription or assignment, then the updates wouldn't show.

Reboot was the first thing I tried, as with every unexplainable hicup in world of MS Windows for the past 25 years. It would appear that installing the updated versions from the product page (Web install) did the trick, as opposed to using Access or just downloading/installing the updates which didn't work either. It makes you wonder why, but it appears to work now, we'll just have to see with the next round of updates.
