how do I get autodesk acces to work?

how do I get autodesk acces to work? I have just install our procent on a new PC.  My problem is that Autodesk Access is telling me that the computer is up to date , but it is not.  I have inventor , Autocad and vault.   Inventor is only version 2020.1 but I know that is a less a version 2020.5.4  It still show no updates. How do I can  it to show me my updates in Autodesk Access ?

lots of problems with Access lots of threads posted here about it

go to your Autodesk Account & download them here: https://manage.autodesk.com/products/updates

if the update doesn't show you will need to contact Autodesk here: https://www.autodesk.com/support/contact-support?startHelpBranch=post-purchase/download-software

Hi @JesperLodahl8215 ,
Autodesk Access is similar to the Autodesk Account portal in that it should display only the latest updates for the current annual version of your Autodesk products and the previous 3 versions. So for Inventor, Access only shows updates for Inventor 2024 (current annual version) and 2023, 2022 and 2021.

Just for fun - I created a support request:

 

It's about a year now since Autodesk Access was introduced to replace the Desktop App. In it's current state, it's pretty useless. And when making this service request, I notice it isn't even listed as a product - here, it's still called 'Desktop App'. Looks like it doesn't get much attention? But promises where made at introduction, like "we will deliver solutions for the following capabilities soon". I would like to know when 'soon' will be 'now'?

 

The first answer I got was to contact Sales. My respons was it's pretty unlikely Sales knows about the development time line. The next answer I got:

 

Please be informed that Autodesk Access is still under development related to the complete features. 
 Currently there is no workaround for this, and our developers are working on implementing the features accordingly and you will definitely receive an update on your email once product is development is finished. 

 

So I guess there's no timeline...
