Accepted solution

hello @rkarun_86

I agree with @pendean. Creating these objects is not possible in the AutoCAD Web Application. Commands like for example EXTRUDE or 3DORBIT are not implemented yet.

But when you create these objects in your AutoCAD Desktop Application, save the drawing in a certain view and upload the file to web.autocad.com, you will be able to see them:

@Anonymous The focus is getting AutoCADMOBILE caught up on 2D before they even think about 3D implementation. If you have a dire business need to create 3d the old-school way you need to be using desktop AutoCAD in WindowsOS.
If you want mobile 3D creation try other software offerings from this and other software vendors that are better suited for mobile devices.

A drawn out workaround would be to draw each shape, face-by-face, by changing the orientation of the drawing. Of course, this isn't sustainable and rotating shapes may have indeterminate behavior. But, if the purpose is purely for visualizing, this is one way to go about it.

No, you cannot draw 3D objects in AutoCAD web app. Similarly to AutoCAD LT, you can perform some limited 3D operations, like drawing a polyline or circle and assigning it a "height" to make it 3D, change UCS in 3D, or even create a 3D face. But you will need to use the LISP functions in AutoCAD web - so it is nothing for the faint hearted.
