File taking longer to load than usual

None of the files in the AutoCAD web application will open for me.  I keep getting this message -

 

"The file is taking longer than usual to load.  If the file is particularly large, or if your internet connection speed is slow, this may be expected.  Otherwise, you may want to retry opening the file."

 

I have had this happen a few times and after trying to open again or shutting down my browser and reopening the files would load.  They do not load at all now.  I'm a teacher at a high school and this has thrown a wrench into the already chaotic day.

Are you on a chromebook? They are not supported.

No I'm on my desktop but I do use Google Chrome browser.  I do have students using chromebooks and it works fine.

Seems to be a popular complaint today, it might be an issue at Autodesk. Only time will fix it.

thanks for your heads up. I am checking if I can gather information about the situation.

 

For now I see that all servers are up and running - please compare:

  1. Autodesk Health - current status
  2. Autodesk Health - History

I will update you once I have new information.

 

Currently it would help to get the information if the issue appears on all drawings or only on some drawings.

The same thing is happening to me, with all the drawings. I already created another account, with another email, and it continues with the same problem.

Same issue.  We are a high School CAD course and are going remote next week.  It has worked for some students on Chromebooks, but won't seem to work on lab desktops. (we are running the latest version of Chrome.)  I can't get it to work at home either.

Please try opening your drawings again. We believe we know what the issue is and pushed a fix. Please let us know if this problem continues.

As @mwn mentioned - a fix was pushed to solve the issue. Please check the behavior again and let us know the outcome. If it still appears we will communicate this internally.
