What is difference between AutoCAD and raster design
Solved! Go to Solution.
AutoCAD or any Vertical for example AutoCAD Map 3D are the base products needed to install Raster Design on Top.
The main differences:
AutoCAD or Verticals deleaver functionality working with Vector Data.
It is possible to change the size, visibility of Raster but it is not possible to edit the referenced Raster Files (TIF(F), JPG, NPG...).
AutoCAD Raster Design provide functionality editing Raster (Images).
Changes like transformation, removing parts can be saved back to the Raster File.
It is also possible to create new Raster in different formats or save location details in World Files.
Kind regards
