I'd like to see some simple, easy to use thermal expansion calculator implemented right in Plant itself. I think it's a bit daft to calculate these by hand or by exporting pipeline info to some other software just for calculations. Plant has real-time info on everything you need to do these calculations (support locations, pipe geometry and material). It could easily show if your pipe geometry will be able to suppress thermal movements and withstand the forces caused by them.
