Just dealt with this yesterday. I had to make four views, 2 for front and 2 for side, in order to break the pipes in over a 40 ft length of pipes in order to show more detail at a higher scale factor. At the time I was actually thinking how great it would be if the Pipe Gap would actually break the viewport as well to accomplish this easier. Perfect Timing - and an awesome idea.
