It looks like when you are working offline on a Plant drawing that has been checked out from a Plant Collaboration project, you can continue working and can save the file, but you will see many error messages. If you ignore all of them, it looks like you can work on that file. So if there was an "work offline" checkbox to prevent all these error messages, then working on that offline drawing would feel more comfortable.
