Provide a field route option or exclude from BOM to the status of Plant 3d objects that excludes the object from the Ortho BOM. This would help while doing fabrication drawings or layout drawings that just catch a small portion of the object in the view but still addes it to BOM. This really affects pipe lengths on BOM.
I have had customers report a preference for the orthographic BOM to only report the length of piping shown in the view (if it is clipped by the view limits) rather than the entire length of pipe.
