Ortho generation improvements

- Represent Insulation of pipes in Ortho.

- Generate hatch during cuting 3D solids of AutoCAD

- Represent small bore pipe with only centerline (without border lines)

- Advanced Steel objects generation - now is view some surface lines (the same with Structural Detailing objects)

I would like to see the view creation be less clunky.  I have had issues with views loosing their association to the model and having to recreate them.  It would be nice if there was a way to utilize the Viewbase command or something similar to create quick views.  currently views take forever to generate.  I would like to be able to create a live 3d view of the model and then when ready to officially "issue" the drawing be able to do the 2d convert.  This was very robust in Cadworx by utilizing the 2d rep command.  I would have a live viewport to see my 3d model then use 2d rep to make the final 2d layouts for issuing.

Improvements to small bore presentation.

• option to show centre line only
• option to show pipe only without centreline
• option to show different hiddenlinemodes for small bore and normal pipes

It is already included in AutoCAD Plant 3D 2021 RTM.

Thanks for this.

Just wanting to clarify, are you wanting to see single line piping for small bore (thick/solid centreline with indications of connections types for different welds (dot for buttweld, etc like Isos) or do you have a need to see only the dashed centreline without any piping edges?

Starting from AutoCAD Plant 3D 2023 RTM, you can now display piping in a single-line representation in orthographic drawings according to different criteria.

Insulation is already in 2021 RTM and small bore pipe with single line and Advanced Steel objects showing improvements in 2023 RTM.
