Equipment Nozzle lengths on heads

Plant 3d should allow defining the nozzle length on heads from a datum line or tangent.  Right now the length is given by the intersection of the head to the face of flange, which is not a dimension normally given in a vendor drawing.

I agree.  Add in the fact that the dished heads in P3D equipment are not editable (for radius) so there's no way it will ever match your particular vessel that you're trying to model.  It's frustrating that after this many revisions to this program that we still have to measure flange face locations and do some calculations to get the nozzles in the correct location.
