If I need a BOM for a particular line no, we need to generate Isometric ( sometimes 3 to 4 isometric it generates and we need to wait for some mins) or use Report creator ( in report creator we have to use query to filter that line no.)
Need a simple to generate only BOM for a particular line no from Plant3d.
Using report is a little tedious one, as we have to apply filter for the particular line no. for each item.
Would be very simple from Plant3d if that option available. Like Iso's, we will select the particular line no and generate BOQ in excel format.
There should be a 2 tool as like ISO (Production Iso, Quick ISO) should to be available:
1. Quick BOM
By Selecting this tool, users will be asked to select the items for which BOM to be generated. The items what the users select, the BOM will be generated in Excel format.
2. Line BOM
This tool will show the availbal line nos. in the project, Users will select the required line no. for which BOM to generated. The particular line no. what users select, the BOM table will be generated.
The datat manager report shows in Plant3d is not a cummulative one. It is not showing as like BOM. It shows each single pieces of items in that line no. we need to cummulate every item. Big process
