Currently in Ortho Configuration, we can define a layer for New Pipes, Equipment, Structure, and we can define a layer for Existing Pipes, Equipment, Structure etc. But in most cases, those are not the only statuses that are used in the project. We have other statuses that we want to show on the same layer as Existing. Would like to see an option for layer selection that is for "All other Statuses" so we can control that too.
We currently have to edit the view each time it is created which is timely and increases QA efforts.
We can't just use different CTB files as the clients define the CTB, and we require a limited number of CTB files on other projects. The management behind CTB files would be forever a painful never-ending task.
Not an option to "Use 3D Model Layers" either. That was proven to be problematic over 10 years ago and the reason that layer control was introduced to AutoCAD Plant 3D.
