Webinars on specific software

Hi,

After my recent email enquiring about webinars based on specific software products, AutoCAD Plant 3D and Inventor, I am still feeling a little bit half-done. While I appreciate all the replies, which is only to be expected from Autodesk members, I am truly grateful. The information was very helpful, even though some of the suggestions were already obvious to me and some links were areas I had not explored.

I suppose the easiest option is the traditional "Google Search" !

But, I still feel that there is a lack of definite webinars on these two particular products while Autodesk gears more towards the traditional product design towards the building service industry.

*Now I should also add that I use these AutoCAD Plant 3D & Inventor in the ship building design & maintenance industry.

Now this is my own personal opinion as I experience it and the software products I use in my work.

Any further advice and information will again be appreciated.

Regards

Niall

Please put it in the Plant 3d and P&ID ideas forum:

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-plant-3d-p-id-ideas/idb-p/48

A bit less than 1% of the ideas there get considered, so here's hoping yours is lucky.

As for learning Plant 3D/P&ID I would suggest paid training and/or talk to your reseller for training/questions.  You pay them for the time, but that usually means direct help of high quality.

Aside from asking your reseller for training opportunities; have you checked the Autodesk University portal? You can find a lot of useful seminars from past years on a wide range of topics. From Plant 3D to Inventor to Factory Design Utilities, etc...

There is also a new portal called 'Customer Success Hub' It contains free courses, and customer success stories that might give you an idea how other companies have tackled issues similar to the ones you might be experiencing.

Hello @niall.rasmussen,

thanks for participating in the Autodesk Community.

I would recommend that you visit Autodesk Community Conversations too.

Community Conversations are webinars led by Community members on their areas of expertise, hosted by Community Managers. Join a session to delve into product features, discover innovative workflows, learn tools and techniques, and make connections in the Community.

I hope it helps!
