Off-page connector symbol change in Plant 3D

Dear all,

I come to ask for your help. I am working on a Plant P&ID project and along the way I have been adding some new equipment or new symbols for existing equipment in the project setup, without issues.

Now I wanted to add a new, simpler symbol to the Off-page connector (OPC) item. I edited a new symbol and it worked fine.

But then I created a new drawing in this project. For some reason, when I add this new OPC symbol in this new drawing the old symbol is inserted! It is so strange because in older drawings the new OPC is inserted and works fine but in this drawing it's always the old one that appears!

Things I've tried:

- AUDITPROJECT; REGENALL; SYNCHSTYLES 

- Go to project setup and check the symbol again. Add it to the tool palette again

- Copy symbol from another drawing: when I paste it turns to the old symbol!

- Restart plant

- Ask another user to try

From the top of my head, the following information can give us more to go on and see what the issue is?

Did you create a new symbol for the 'out-of-the-box' off-page-connector. Or did you create a new connector type?

Did you set the graphicalstylename of your new symbol to the correct symbol?

Are you using a completely new block definition (with a new name) or are you changing the existing block definition?

Thank you for the reply.

I created a new symbol for the out-of-the-box OPC.

I changed the GraphicalStyleName, as you suggested and it worked!
