Wafer connection double bolt set instead of single set

I hope that someone can help me.

I'm in front of a problem with wafer connections. Although everything looks (to me) correctly set; flanged connection with a wafer valve in between is done with a double bolt set. One "set" is with undefined length "@@@", the other one is with a defined (but wrong) length.

I've already read the following article but it didn't help.

I also have to state that in the connection definition I don't check the Facing. Matching properties are "Nominal Diameter" and "Pressure Class" only.

Thanks to everybody

Dear @quaglia.l ,

You would have to provide us with more information, such as pictures or configuration files.

You know that it doesn't work, but we can't reproduce it from your description in order to reproduce it in Plant 3D and fix the error if necessary.

@h_eger ; thank you for your availability.

Here some screenshot about the situation. In addition i found another strange behavior. Although "Screw+nut+washer" is default bolt-set in the Spec.; it inserts the other bolt-set "Screw+washer" which is also a lug-set. So strange.

Thanks for helping.

All WF* connections do NOT require bolt sets.

@h_eger

thanks, I've already tried yesterday but it didn't work. Now I removed again the "bolt-set" from the "joint table" and it was not still working.

But now I found the bug; I tried several times and combinations.

The solution is: If the "facing" is not a "Required matches" in the joint setup, seems that the program won't install bolt set in wafer connection where "facing" is not null on the valve side. Or better: wafer bolt set are placed only if the field "facing" is null/empty on valve side.

I already have tried to keep facing as optional matching, but it is not working.

In the examples below, flange is "A" facing, then I tried custom parts with "A" facing, "B1" facing adn "null" facing. Only the last one was working.

Here follow the examples.
