TESTACPSCRIPT ERROR

I am getting a no function definition for TESTACPSCRIPT ERROR. Could someone tell me the proper sequence for adding custom scripts to plant 3d? I have my custom scripts ready. Do they all have to be in the custom script folder or can they be in subfolders inside the custom scripts folder? Do I have to start a new drawing inorder to load the PNP.arx? How and where do I load the testscript.py?

Here’s some links with more details.

Overall you need the scripts in the CustomScripts folder under shared content, and then arxload pnp3dacpadapter before testing the scripts.

I am getting a "no function definition error message" when trying to test my script. Could you tell me what I am doing wrong please?

When I typed (TESTACPSCRIPT "FLR_5A1")  on the command line I received a "error: no function definition: TESTACPSCRIPT" message. What am I doing  wrong?

You can confirm that you loaded pnp3dacpadapter.arx? Because what you describe is exactly what happens when you don't.

What does your command line read when you enter the following commands?

(arxload "PnP3DAcpadapter.arx")
PLANTREGISTERCUSTOMSCRIPTS
(testacpscript "FLR_5A1")

This is the message I am getting now. I have to look at some other stuff now.

Invalid pipe OD defined in the support catalog.
Cannot place the support.
Geometry can not be generated with the given parameters.nil

When I start Plant 3d, I start a new drawing. Do I do another step before loading the arxload file?

@andre.enoch

Following things need to come if your pnp loaded successfully,

Command: _APPLOAD
Command: PnP3dACPAdapter.arx successfully loaded.

For your "Geometry can not be generated with the given parameters.nil" this error you have to give appropriate dimension in your script.

regards,

Mehul

Having same issue. Confirmed the ARX is loaded. This is with Plant3D 2023. Any progress on this issue? I notice it has been a couple years... Was the function renamed?

Everything was already said from the other persons above.
PnP3DAcpadapter.arx need to be loaded first.

Then you script needs to be correct. otherwise you will see an error.

Still no solution on this - just more Autodesk insisting that they know the solution even though they have not even read the issue.

Do explain, what about OP's script content would undefine a function for me?
