STATUS BLANK IN OBJECT PROPERTY

Hello,

Why some objects are blank status ? Bug ?

In the property project, by default it's NEW.

User does not change this value !

Result in bill of material with Report Creator, this materiel is not include and therefore not ordered !!!

Dear Serge,

 

have you installed the versions 2018 and 2019 side-by-side on one machine? There is an effect which is currently under investigation. Currently if you want to work on version 2018, please, uninstall and re-install update 2018.1.1. Alternatively you can of course uninstall one of these versions.

Thank you for your answer.



We work with 2017 version.

This bug is very serious, a quantity of material was not ordered because the Report Creator could not count component with blank status!



Is the uninstall and re-install update and service pack definitively resolves this problem?

This can happen if Plant 3D 2018 is installed side-by-side with Plant 3D 2017 of the same language.
There are two possible solutions

  • Edit the properties via the Data Manager

or

  • Install different language versions of 2017 and 2018. For example: 2017 in German and 2018 in English

Hello Bernd @Bernd.Gerstenberger,

 

we recently noticed the same problem. We are using Plant 2017 and 2016 side-by-side in German. So the problem seems to exist generally with parallel installation of older versions?
