RPC_E_SERVERFAULT error message when exporting

I have a customer who when exporting a project as an .xls gets the error message
"The server threw an exception. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80010105(RPC_E_SERVERFAULT))"

He gets this when exporting to the server and local machine, they have got a new server recently but can't see what is causing this issue

is it a Microsoft SQL Server in collaboration with Autodesk AutoCAD Plant 3D 2016?

Are the server access rights again completely and correctly set up?

Hi everyone!

I have the same exact message when I try to export instrumentation or equipment lists. I recently moved the project from one partition to another. Before the export option worked just fine. Could this be the problem?

i am useing ACAD P&ID 2017 and windows 10.

could there be a problem with this??

Hi,

I'm struggling with the same problem. Closing to the end of the project, some data need to be exported to the third party and bellow attached error appears:

I have installed Autocad Plant 2017 with 2017.1 update.  Does someone have similar problem?

Hello,

I think the worksteps I made are very typical:

1 - open data manager

2 - right click on object group - > export

3 - OK (I tried all options not only marked on screenshot bellow)

4 - error shows up

My IT manager reinstalled windows and other software so now it is working. But I'm curious why this error appears while I have autocad plant 2017.1 installed. According to the autodesk  community database on this version it should work.
