The freeze takes place in Report DESIGNER and happens precisely when I got to adjust a cell border within the "Property Grid" tool space, inside the "Appearance Section" precisely at the "Border" pulldown. I select the pulldown and select "none" and the change is made but immediately upon clicking on a new cell, the entire program freezes and must be closed with task manager.
This issue began in December, near the time of the anniversary update, likely right after. I have tried all proposed solutions, including making sure all of my software in the Design Suite Premium 2017 package is up to date and the issue persists exactly the same. I have tried compatibility mode for Report Creator, I have tried nixing DPI scaling, I have tried running as Admin, I have tried turning off user account control, and all combinations of the above. The issues persists exactly as before. I uninstalled Plant3d and reinstalled and ran all updates and service pack to no avail.
Report Designer functions in some other aspects still, such as exporting to XLSX and changing font type, size, editing information in cells directly. This issue however makes Report Designer un-usable due to the the necessity of changing border types. attached screenshot shows in red where you must not click lest you risk a freeze.
Please respond with a solution for this problem.
