Hello guys,

Have anybody tried to export a report into a predefinied DOC template by script? I mean script in Report Creator.

I found some >info< on devexpress.com. I'm not sure that it was good idea, but I tried to apply the code mentioned in the link regarding Report Creator. Of cource, I faced some problems. First of all, I don't know how to refer to my (current) report template.

Any help will be appreciated.

This is for the outdated version of XtraRichEdit. For SpecEditor, in most cases XtraReport solutions are suitable.

Export to DOC is not working now, Autodesk was too lazy to use it.
What exactly do you want to achieve?

Good morning @≡ EqVert ≡

Thanks for your reply.

I want to Report Creator pastes report table into special DOC template automatically . The DOC template includes predefined bends and title page. Now users do it manually: 1) export report into RTF, 2) copy table, 3) paste it into mentioned DOC template. So, I want to get rid of steps 2 and 3.

Yes, it would be nice to have a title page, but Autodesk cut it out of the possibilities.
footers are possible in rtf if you do them in TopMargin and BottomMargin

Hello Artyom Hrapov,

this functionality for plain DevExpress was never implemented for AutoCAD Plant 3D's Report Creator. Please, post an idea on our Plant Idea Site

Best regards

Bernd
