Does anybody know a good source on how to customize the report creator?
For example about how to make and edit a table of contents. (Here I'm not able to show tag, description and page together in one line)
Or how to make an equipment list where one equipment has data fields in more than one row. (I found an unellegant workaround)
I can only find very basic information about how to use the report creator.

There's very little information out there about manipulating the report creator, your best bet would be training through your reseller, but they might not even know. We've all stumbled through the report creator, and certain aspects of it aren't straight forward or easy. This forum might be your only other recourse aside from a random google search.
I agree with @George.Endrulat . There's just not much info on how to customize it. For the types of things you mention, I'd be more inclined to just export to Excel and use VBA there to do the fancy stuff.
