For AutoCAD Electrical there is a specific print functionality that allows you to generate such PDF's although it is not completely without complication.

For AutoCAD P&ID such a functionality does not exist. There is an idea in the idea station for which you can vote. If Autodesk takes notice it might get implemented in a future release:

I found a post on Autodesk site about using hyperlinks in autocad.

https://help.autodesk.com/view/PLNT3D/2025/ENU/?guid=GUID-A2B393E4-4ACB-4E7A-A07F-79260243D144&p=ACD

If you view the properties of the offpage connector you have a possibility to add a hyperlink.

On the right side klick on the small window.

In de window that opens you can link another drawing to it.

Than finally you can export the drawing by using Export to PDF.

This worked for me. 😃

EDIT: Once you have a multi-page .pdf does the hyperlink in the .pdf link to the other page in the .pdf or does it open the dwg that is linked?

If it works, you can do that manually but, and you can even hyperlink to a view within a dwg, but you cannot link to a view in a different .dwg. When you have a project with dozens of .dwg's and multiple OPC's per .dwg this becomes a big work to add the links manually.

I did not make a multi-page pdf. all drawings are seperate pdf. So if I klick on the offpage connector this will open de pdf that is linked to it.

You can even link every component in de P&ID to an other pdf, picutere or document. All you need is to put in the hyperlink in de properties window of that component.
