Property Dialog Box STRING TEXT

Dear all,

If I am creating new properties for P&ID Class Definitions

(Project Setup/P&ID DWG Settings/ P&ID Class Definitions/Non Engineering Items/Flag/Equipment_List)

Then i have few options, the option to insert Text (String) is limited to 255 characters, I know this from checking the database structure with the program DB Browser (SQLite). If I go to this field, it's configured as VarChar(255), however I want to use this field to enter long texts with Equipments descriptions, tags, notes, etc.

Is there any way to change this field and convert it into "TEXT" instead of VarChar(255)

you have to make the following changes in the DB table PNPProperties.

maximum length in a data field is 65535 (64K-1)

Btw,

Does the programme SQLite Expert Professional remain for free after the 40 days trial?
