Dear forum members,

Today I was setting up an external database (access) using PLANTXDBMANAGER.

I am trying to use the standard properties availabe

Now, for example, a pump I tried to use type (standard properties)

After setting this up and selecting a pump I only see red exclamation marks on the added columns 

if I use other properties I can get this to work but not on the standard properties that come with installation 

Am I doing something wrong or is it not possible to use existing properties?

are your standard properties "system properties"?

these are read only and only work in display mode you can not write these properties from the external DB.

Yes it is a system property that i like to use as first field for the database to use in order to fill in missing info

Sadl it does not work like this

Does anyone know if it is possible to connect with Excel using PLANTXDBMANAGER?

I have a .xml and an .xls file and both are not able to connect while access is working without issues
