Project Backup from Plant 3D 2026 remains linked to ACC Project.

Has anyone run into this issue before?

Issue Description

I have an AutoCAD Plant 3D project hosted on Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC). To conduct testing without affecting the active cloud project, I used the Create Project Backup function to create a local copy of the project in a separate folder on my local drive.

Expected Behavior

The backed‑up project should function as an independent, local project and should not retain any association with the original ACC‑hosted project.

Actual Behavior

When opening the backed‑up project—after removing the original project from the local CollaborationCache folder—the project continues to remain linked to the ACC version. This occurs even though the backup project is located outside of the CollaborationCache directory, which remains unchanged in the Collaborate Options.

Impact

This prevents isolated testing, as any interaction with the backup project appears to maintain a connection to the cloud-hosted project.

When you say "linked to the ACC version", do you mean the drawing paths point to the Collaboration Cache directory? Or the database is linked to the BIM360 project? Or other?

It's still linked to the BIM 360/ACC project.
