Problem with actuator of PSV (angle valve)

Hi everyone,

Today I have another problem with custom part of plant 3D, now it is angle safety valve model

I was created a valve catalogue in Specs Editor and add the actuator for this valve (see pictures)

But the actuator shown in 3D model has wrong direction (horizontal instead of Vertical)  (maybe it fixed to the port 2 direction)

And the iso was generated with the same problem (actuator in horizontal position)

I was trying to found the way to fix this but still no luck.

Could anyone given me any idea ?

Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

I have tried to edit the source code of the valve and the operator, find the way to add the parameter that allow user choose the actuator align to port1 or port2. But it is a long road to go.

 I have same problem with PSV and 3way. Plant 2018

PSV - I test more item. Someone write Stype=INSTRUMENT-ANGLE, but in old version.

3way is same problem. I can created model, but iso symbol is poorly. 3 ports in horizontal position is big problem, because actuator must be from above.

Anything works fine in 2016. And i think it works also fine in 2018.

if you want to decline your PSV as an Instrument. Check in the IsoSkeyAcadBlockMap.xml, if there exists your SKEY with the correct block

in my example i added there 

<SkeyMap SKEY="ZZ??" AcadBlock="ValveAngle"/>

ValveAngle is the Standard Block which is predefined in each Project, if you want to use your own check that you use the correct block name

next step for creation

use the SKEY=ZZFL and the STYP=INSTRUMENT-ANGLE

if you insert your block in your drawing you can switch the insertion ports with STRG.

After that you Iso should work. My Model is just for showing, its a quick one.

Thank you for your supports.

I test two version:

1. Skey=RA?? Stype=Valve-Angle in AcadblockMap.xml ...<SkeyMap SKEY="RA??" AcadBlock="ValveAngle" /> ... This is poorly. Images Up are result this test.
2. I created new block Symbol with operater, but AutoCad created on ISO two over symbols. ...<SkeyMap SKEY="VF??" AcadBlock="SAFETYVALVE" />
3. Last version is your version 🙂 but result is the same as 1.version

I dont know 🙂 I rotate user actuator for 270° axis x and 90° axis y. In Model I flip ports Port S1 ,,DN65,, must horizontal position and Port S2 ,,DN65,, vertical, because model valve-angle is composition 2 block + 1 operator. When I have reducer PSV I must flip ports in katalog. This is very complicated 🙂

 Yes this is symbol Valve-Angle. Your symbol is symbol Valve-Angle ,,original name Block in Plant 2018 is Valve-Angle2016,,. Plant 3D 2018 not used this ,,your,, symbol but ,,my,, symbol. I think, this is crazy 🙂 In AcadBlockMap.xml I rewrite name block on ,,your,, symbol Valve-Angle2016 and result is two over symbol >>>Image two<<<
